Accounting sync

Bills come in, paid payments go back, and the FX lands where your accountant expects it.

Two-way sync with the three most common cloud ledgers, plus CSV for everything else. Payments reconcile themselves.

Bills in, in one click

Approved bills appear in Kelvern with the supplier, currency and due date already filled in.

Paid payments back, matched

The payment posts against the bill with the exact rate and fee, so there is nothing to reconcile by hand.

FX gains and losses posted

Choose the account once. Every difference between the bill rate and the paid rate goes there.

The worst part of paying suppliers abroad is not the payment. It is the reconciliation afterwards: matching a bank statement line in pounds to a bill in euros, working out the rate that was actually used, and posting the difference somewhere.

Kelvern does that part for you.

How the sync works

Connect your ledger once. Approved supplier bills in a foreign currency appear in Kelvern within 15 minutes, with the amount, due date and supplier already matched to the payee you saved. Pay them singly or in a run. When the payment is sent, Kelvern posts it back against the bill with the rate and fee, and marks the bill paid.

The FX line your accountant asks about

If the bill was booked at one rate and paid at another, the difference is a realised FX gain or loss. Choose the nominal account once and Kelvern posts every difference there, per payment, with a reference back to the quote.

More than one company

Groups with a UK trading company and an EU entity can run both from one login on the Volume plan, each with its own ledger, approval rules and balances.
