Approvals

Nothing leaves on one click unless you decide it can.

Rules by amount, supplier, currency and new bank details, with a second approver on their phone in one tap.

Rules in plain words

“Over £10,000, or any new supplier, needs a second person.” That is how you write it, and how it reads in the log.

Approve from anywhere

The second approver sees the same quote on their phone and approves with 2FA in one tap.

Every change is logged

Who added a supplier, who changed their bank details, who approved, and when. Exportable for your auditor.

Invoice fraud against importers has one favourite trick: an email that looks like it came from a real supplier, saying their bank details have changed. The payment goes out, the money lands somewhere else, and the real supplier is still waiting.

Kelvern’s approvals are built around that trick and around the ordinary mistakes that cost more than they should.

Rules that match how you already work

Most teams already have a rule in their heads: the owner signs off anything big, or anything new. Write it down once in Kelvern and it applies to every payment, from every user, without exceptions. Rules can look at the amount, the supplier, the currency, and whether the bank details are new or recently changed.

A second approver who sees what you saw

The approver does not get a vague “payment pending” notice. They see the full quote: the supplier, the invoice, the amount in both currencies, the margin, the fee and the arrival date. If the rate moves before they approve, the quote refreshes and both of you see the new one.

Changed bank details stop the line

When a supplier’s bank details change, the next payment to them is held until someone other than the person who made the change approves it. That single rule stops most invoice-redirection fraud.
